Prof Dr Michael Schröder
Prof. Dr. Michael Schröder (47, degree in business administration (Diplom-Kaufmann)) teaches at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim.
After graduating from high school, completed a Siemens management training course followed by studies and a doctorate at Mannheim University.
Five years as a consultant in the medium-sized consulting firm, TIM CONSULT, Mannheim in the field of business logistics.
Prof. Schröder is the co-founder of the Baden-Württemberg logistics network (LogBW); he was the regional group spokesperson for Rhein/Neckar of the German Logistics Association (BVL) from 2003 until his resignation in accordance with the statutes in 2015.
As the Head of Political Science he is responsible for the MBM Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Production dual masters degree programme; as author, speaker and moderator he is faced with increasing social criticism of decisions made regarding the location of business activities.
