Accelerated procedure for skilled workers

Companies and skilled workers from third countries have the option of shortening the procedure to enter the country.
We will support you in all procedural steps and coordinate the process until the visa is issued.
We will be happy to advise you on the requirements and participation of other agencies.

1. How does the shortening of the entry procedure work?

Companies and skilled workers from third countries have had the opportunity to shorten the entry procedure since 1 March 2020.
The procedure for the recognition of foreign qualifications can also be accelerated.
Legal basis: Section 81a Residence Act

2. What is the accelerated skilled worker procedure for companies?

If you have decided to offer employment or training to a foreign skilled worker, you can apply for the accelerated procedure at the relevant immigration authority (the immigration authority that is responsible at your place of business).

4. What do you have to submit?

Required documents that you must present are listed below:

a power of attorney from the skilled worker

5. What costs will you incur?

The fee for the procedure of the city of Mannheim is € 411.
